Conflict

Here's another cliche: "I don't like conflict."

Really? I don't see why, because feeling uncomfortable is so much fun!

I don't get how some people just don't see that certain things are just a part of life. You don't wanna live? Well there are ways to take care of *that.*

I'm not sure what has compelled me to comment on this because I really really really do not like conflict! No, really!

I know, me neither! If you take a look at my entry titled "Excuses" you'll get a bit more of an intro into what I mean. The reason I didn't originally put it in that post was because at the time I was thinking that some people do feed off of conflict, or some people handle it with more ease so I didn't think it was as much of a cliche. But when I thought about it later, I think most people don't like conflict, and that's exactly the point, that people still say it as if it's unique to them. But most folks avoid difficult conversations that still need to happen for that very reason.

I actually just had a confrontation with my roommate tonight. My heart was pounding the whole time but it was a discussion that needed to happen. Gawd it sucks...

So... sounds like a new blog entry is ripening and getting ready for the picking (pecking?) Hope all is well - I'm sure we'll get the scoop on the hiking trail.
